The Washington Post has a lengthy article outlining Mitt Romney’s attempts to  reach out to Latino voters, and the critical role they will play in the 2012 election. In Florida, college students received funding for a program they developed to prevent undocumented students from dropping out of school. Latina Lista discusses the advantages for Latinos if they reduce their accents in the workplace. El Diario covers the push for the New York State Dream Act in Albany.

News Indian Times covers an Indian-American’s run for Congress in New Jersey. The New York Daily News writes about the Stokes unit, a part of immigration services that investigates green card marriages (Fi2W wrote about Stokes last year.) The Christian Science Monitor weighs in on U.S. asylum law. Finally, the River Front Times broaches the topic of civil disobedience in the immigration debate.
