According to CNN, nine border patrol stations in the interior parts of the United States are set to close soon, and agents will be relocated to patrol the border itself.

The shortage of immigrant farm workers is an ongoing cause of concern for farmers. This article from the CNN blog Eatocracy reveals that some farms are turning to prisoners to compensate.

In Georgia, police plan on enforcing a part of the state’s immigration law very similar to the “papers please” provision in Arizona’s SB 1070, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
