Here are statements from both President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney regarding SB 1070.

El Diario provides a different impression from an immigrant community worried about the remaining provision of the law, known as “Papers, Please.”  Democracy Now! hosts a conversation with an immigration activist and undocumented immigrant about SB 1070 racial profiling concerns.

In New York news, DNAInfo discusses the Democratic primary elections today, particularly the race between Charles Rangel and Adriano Espaillat that we’ve covered before.  Irish Echo speaks with a family of refugees from Northern Ireland and gets their reaction to the Supreme Court ruling.  Finally, the New York Daily News reveals the results of a new study showing the high concentration of Jews in Brooklyn.
