My Hijab, My Body: The Video

Our partners at WNYC have produced an animated video based on the Fi2W podcast  My Hijab, My Body – The Journey of a Tattooed Yemeni Feminist.  Part of the series The United States of Anxiety: Culture Wars, the video uses the words of an outspoken young woman as she explores her Muslim identity in an interview with Fi2W’s Tahini Rahman.

Listen to the podcast My Hijab, My Body – The Journey of a Tattooed Yemeni Feminist.

The podcast is part of a series produced in the Telling Immigrant Stories course at The New School.

Fi2W is supported by the David and Katherine Moore Family Foundation, the Ralph E. Odgen Foundation, the J.M. Kaplan Fund, an anonymous donor and readers like you.
