Fi2W contributor and New School student, Yael Even Or, was on PRI’s The World last night, once again telling the story of Ahlam, the Syrian doctor faced with the decision of staying in Brooklyn with her infant daughter and the rest of her family or returning to Syria to be with her husband, who is unable to leave.  Ahlam has made the choice to return home to a war zone, but is still waiting for a passport for her daughter who was born in the U.S.

Listen to her story over on PRI’s The World or in the player below.
